Spot: BE line (break even)
The line bases on visible trades on the chart (triangles). Considering their price, trade volume, and the commission for that trade (The commission can be in the volume of the traded asset or in BNB if the exchange option is enabled and BNB is in the portfolio and not frozen in orders).
The BE line situated on the chart at the breakeven price and dynamically shifts its position with new trades or the disappearance of trades from the visible chart area.
The breakeven price is a price at which a trader can sell their existing assets and break even.
In other words, if the coin current price is above this line, traders are in profit; if it's below, they're in loss. Profit or loss is displayed on the line itself in a separate field.
Note
The BE line does not account for future trades. In other words, the BE line displays breakeven without considering the sale of existing assets, which will include the exchange's future transaction fee. The BE lines also do not account for funding.
The commission size is taken from the exchange. In some situations, when the exchange does not provide the commission size used after a trade upon request - the platform, to neutralize the absence of data, substitutes the default commission size of 0.1% of the trade's nominal value in the BE line calculation.
Futures: BE Line
Similar to the BE line in spot trading, but considering short trades. If, based on trades, the user is engaged in a short trade, the logic operates as the "mirror" of spot trading. In other words, if the price is above the BE line, the traders are at a loss; if it's below, they are in profit.
Futures: Position BE Line
Marked on the chart as "P: BE" (position breakeven). Similar to the BE line in futures trading, but calculated only on trades of the current open position (rather than visible trades). The line disappears after closing the position. The new position BE line will be calculated based on new trades, ignoring past trades.
Futures: Liquidation Line
Marked on the chart as "P: LQ" (position liquidation). Displays the price at which the exchange calculates the liquidation of an open position.
Futures: Position Entry Line
Marked on the chart as "P: EP" (entry price). This line represents your average entry price, factoring in additional trades you've made. It doesn't account for when you've partially reduced your position. It shows your profit or loss for the current open position. If you reduce your position, the line will reflect the profit or loss for the remaining part of your position.
